Place your phone on the base to start—Woki begins construction, mirroring your progress. They work, overwork if you skip breaks, and rest when you step away. At the end of the day, your session results in a small house, gradually forming a growing town over time.
By establishing a work ritual, this project encourages focus, reduces phone distractions, and eases the guilt of stopping work by providing a visual, game-like reward.
How it works
Overall Journey
Before Starting the Day
Woki’s Different States
As Woki works, fatigue gradually increases.
If the phone is not detected, Woki remains in idel stage.
As fatigue increases, Woki’s facial features slowly drop and become transparent.
If fatigue becomes too high, Woki stops working and issues a warning.
When a break is taken (phone disconnected), Woki enters rest mode and recovers from fatigue. If stepping away is not possible, Woki can be encouraged to lower fatigue.
Ending Work: Daily & Long-Term
At the end of the day, if targeted work hours are reached, the house is fully built. Otherwise, it remains partially constructed.
Over time, a personal Woki town can be developed. Selecting different materials before each session allows for customization of the town’s appearance.
